Israeli Soldiers Get Seriously Injured in Southern Lebanon Missile Attack
In a separate incident in the same area, one soldier was severely wounded and two others sustained moderate injuries after a drone fell nearby. Additionally, another soldier suffered moderate injuries during what the military described as an operational accident. All injured personnel were evacuated to hospitals, and their families have been informed, the army added.
The violence comes amid ongoing regional tensions since Israel and the US launched a military offensive against Iran on Feb. 28, which has claimed over 1,340 lives, including the then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as stated by reports. Iran has responded with drone and missile strikes against Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US forces, resulting in casualties, infrastructure damage, and disruptions to global markets and aviation.
