Boone County Boards Unanimously Approve Witham-Parkview Affiliation Agreement

Lebanon, Indiana — September 16, 2026 — The Boone County Board of Commissioners and Boone County Council today unanimously approved the affiliation agreement between Witham Health Services and Parkview Health.

The formal vote took place at noon during a joint meeting of the Boone County Board of Commissioners, Boone County Council and Witham Health Services Board of Trustees. Following presentations by Witham CEO Kelly Braverman and Rich Church, Chief Strategy Officer of Parkview Health, seven members of the public spoke during the public comment portion of the meeting.

Following public comment, each board conducted a roll-call vote. The Board of Commissioners, County Council and Witham Health Services Board of Trustees each voted unanimously to approve the affiliation agreement.

“This is the culmination of a lot of hard work and time by a lot of people,” said Boone County Council President Jennifer Hostetter. “I want to thank everyone for putting the time in to understand this complicated agreement. But, in the end, this will be great for the community.”

Boone County Commission President Tim Beyer said he was pleased with the outcome.

“I’m excited the vote passed today,” Beyer said. “I think it’s a good move for not only the people of Boone County, but people in the wider area. It should definitely result in positive healthcare outcomes for everyone.”
